LeAnn Duling has been growing bonsai for over 23 years. Since 2013 she has worked with the National Collection at the National Bonsai and Penjing Museum. At the museum, LeAnn helps with the aesthetic maintenance needed to keep the trees looking their best for visitors. She is also part of the intensive course led by Bjorn Bjornholm at Eisei-en. LeAnn has completed 2 of the 3-year program. LeAnn is proficient in beginner skills that include basic styling, repotting, and basic wiring. Her intermediate-advanced skillset includes redesigning developed trees, all types of grafting across tropicals, conifers, and deciduous material, advanced wiring using copper and aluminum, and jin and shari creations. LeAnn is proficient in tropical, conifer, and deciduous species, however, her expertise lies in conifer species like junipers and Japanese Black Pine. She is also proficient in tree/pot parings and formal display, and ceramic bonsai pot making. LeAnn lives in Woodbridge and is open to one on one consultations virtually or in person .
