Notes:

X1 - Candle pruning can start to be pinched or cut off at this time. Don't fertilize so the new growth does not elongate too quickly.

X2 - This is the latest you should consider decandling. Not advised to decandle anytime past mid August.

X3 - Previous years needles can be removed. Leave 4-5 pairs of needles from the most last year's growth to support new candle buds.
