NVBS Beginner Series

NVBS will host a series of 3 sequential workshops on bonsai and introduce the basics of caring for your bonsai trees throughout the year.

• First session, September 26, 2pm: An introductory presentation about bonsai and why it's so cool, and a nursery visit accompanied by mentors to purchase developmental stock.

• Second session, November 14, 1pm: A styling session on your new bonsai trees! We'll learn how to wire and prune your new trees

• Third session, March or April 2027, TBD: Repotting your new bonsai trees out of their nursery containers and into bonsai pots

We will start with a introductory presentation and visit a nursery to select some nursery stock to begin your journey with. The second session will work on wiring and styling your new bonsai trees. The third session in the spring, we will repot your trees into bonsai pots.
